There are many times that life will knock you down, sometimes for a while; sometimes, longer than you would like to stay down. I am of the belief that we all have inner strength that we can pull from, especially when we are feeling beat up by what happens to us. 

 

My name is Angelica Bennett, MA, MAC, MEd, LCPC, LPC. I have three Master of Arts degrees; two in counseling, one in Elementary Education. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Montana, and a licensed professional counselor in the state of Arizona. I offer telehealth counseling services to residents of Montana at this time. I have been in the behavioral health field since 2001, and I have worked in a variety of settings including community behavioral health, hospital, on tribal lands, as a clinical trainer, a clinical supervisor, and a clinical director.

In my practice, I focus on working with you to identify what we need to work on. I believe in an individualized approach to counseling. I stick to evidence based practices that are trauma informed as I have been trained primarily as a trauma therapist. We work together to form a plan on what you want to focus on, then we get started on working toward a life worth living. I pull from therapeutic interventions such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, REBT, to name a few. I also offer Christian Counseling to those who are seeking it and would like to incorporate it into their treatment. 

 

I see my job as one of support, guidance, and encouragement for my clients. "Cowboy up" is a term that I learned from my husband. It means to dig deep and find your grit when things get hard. There is no quit. There are times where it is necessary for us to make a change and live a healthier life. When you are ready, we can start getting back up.
